New child sex abuse charges have been filed against former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky today, including four counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and two counts of unlawful contact with a minor. Sandusky was arrested in his home in Pennsylvania this morning after he was indicted by a grand jury investigating new claims brought against him since his original arrest last month. The charges were made by men who claim to have met Sandusky in 1997 and 2004. The 2004 date is significant because it represents yet another boy who is alleged to have been abused by Sandusky after previous abuse claims were brought to Penn State head coach Joe Paterno and PSU administrators. The sad saga continues.
