This just in: Remember that completely off-the-wall story about Rex Ryan and his alleged foot fetish that Deadspin broke earlier this year? Regardless of the ridiculous nature of the story, people apparently still give a shit about it! So, the Star-Telegram's "Cowboys Corner" blog decided to ask Rex's brother Rob Ryan about his thoughts on his brother's foot fetish recently. And rather than give a politically-correct answer, Double R went off on a pretty ridiculous tangent about Rex's foot fetish that is almost guaranteed to push this story back onto the back page of the New York tabloids.
"Aw, hell, who cares?" Ryan said. "Believe me, everybody has whatever screwed-up things going on. I don't care. I'm sure you do, and everybody else that points fingers. Who cares? Everybody has a life off the field. Who gives a crap? I'm sure I'm worse than he is. So, big deal."
Pretty crazy, right? But then it got even better when he essentially admitted that the tape Deadspin based their story on last year was real. "Naw, I mean, hell, he is a little freaky, I guess," he said. "Hell, I don't know. I like everything about my wife. She got great feet, too. She got everything nice. What the hell?"
Damn. Sooooo, Thanksgiving at the Ryan household should be pretty interesting this year, eh? [via Star-Telegram]
