Erin Andrews Finally Responds to Being Videotaped Illegally

Erin Andrews isn't used to being on the other side of the microphone. But during a recent interview with Newsday concerning her former ESPN colleague and current St. John's head coach Steve Lavin, Andrews answered a few questions about the 2009 video that featured her being illegally taped in her hotel room. And she pulled no punches when she did it. "I read and saw everything," she said, before calling out a sports blog without naming it specifically. "A lot of people forget that there was a very big blog that had a huge part in causing all this damage....I had a lot of people in the blogosphere that knew that link was there that weekend and left it alone and one blog thought it would be hilarious to put it up...He absolutely devastated my family...I will never forget that weekend." Hmmm....we wonder who she could be talking about? [Newsday, via theScore]

I totally remember when this happened, it was pretty crazy. Although it is kind of funny that Erin Andrews affirms this incident damaged her or her family so much. Keep in mind this scandal is what drove her name into headlines and put her on the #1 TV show in America, Dancing With The Stars. I'd say that for the embarrassment it was probably worth it for the new found fame and fortune.

So she did a "voyeur tape" so that she could get her 15 mins of fame? Through a peep whole where you could barely make out that it was in her in the tape to begin with? Get the fak outta here!!! A sex tape isn't a sex tape w/o SEX in it...*DUH you idiot!! If you we're aware of her, and who she was, and sports commentating in general, you would know that she was well known aka "famous" well before this "tape" happened. The only thing the tape did was bring idiots like you forward to talk shit about a situation that you knew nothing about before it happened.
