The M56 S doesn't match Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz in the gadget department, but it does have a nice list of tech toys. Our car came with the $2,000 Sport Touring Package, which included a stunning Bose digital 5.1-channel system with 16 speakers—some of which were placed right in the shoulders of the seats for optimal sound position. There's also something called the Forest Air system, which supposedly lets in a breeze-like stream of air to keep the cabin fresh. We can't say we noticed it, but what we did notice was the incredible hard drive navigation system. Nissan/Infiniti, by our estimation, has the best iPod integration. It's instant and intuitive, allowing us many ways to search for music and to easily scroll through our music library. Every automaker should take note.
