During the Complex Con(versations) Drop Science panel, ASAP Ferg shared a story about waiting in line for shoes a few years back.

The Harlem rapper explained he once braved the elements for two days to cop a pair of Kanye West's coveted Nike Air Yeezy sneakers at a Jimmy Jazz store in Brooklyn. He said he was "dead broke" during that time period and was planning on reselling the sneakers. He also mentioned people brought guns:

"I've definitely lined up for some Yeezys before. I was dead broke. I found myself camping out for two days. People had guns," - @ASAPferg

Ferg's story highlights how crazy the reselling market was back then, and it's only gotten bigger as time has past. He also can't blame people on wanting to flip a pair of shoes for dough; it's become a part of the game.

The panel, hosted by Chris Gibbs and Complex's own Karizza Sanchez, also featured Jerry Lorenzo, Ben Baller, Deon Point, Racks Hogan, Kevin Le, and Bradford Shellhammer.
