Last year, Jordan Brand set a goal to become a $4.5 billion company by 2020. In its efforts to do so, the sportswear giant took the initiative to target female consumers — one of the largest consumer demographics. With releases like the "Vivid Pink" XIIs and the upcoming Air Jordan X "Heirness," Jordan Brand is making good on their promise to sell more sneakers for women.
Now, the latest sneakers marketed towards women will definitely have some guys upset as the biggest size is a 9.5. The Air Jordan 1 "Heirness" is one half of a pack exclusively for women (and men that fit in the size range.) The sneakers feature a red velvet upper and gold accents on the Swoosh and wings logo.
Twitter user @BALTsneakerShow reported that the second sneaker in the "Heirness" Pack was an Air Jordan XI, which also features velvet material.
While there is no release date information on the "Heirness" Pack as of yet, it was reported that a girl's exclusive Air Jordan XI would release during the 2016 Holiday Season. If these are the same Air Jordan XIs expect to see the "Heirness Pack" by the end of the year.
