It's been a huge day for Jordan Brand as it celebrates the opening of Palais 23 in Paris, and what would a Jordan Brand celebration be without the man himself?

Michael Jordan's press run through the city began this morning when he joined Tinker Hatfield for a Q&A, and now he's getting a fist-hand look at the amazing installation that the brand has prepared for this weekend. Palais 23 features displays of some of the most significant sneakers and moments in Air Jordan history, as well as showcases for today's Brand Jordan athletes.

MJ's ties to "The City of Lights" date back to 1985, when he visited Paris during the release of the Air Jordan 1. Now, 30 years later, His Airness returns to help commemorate the biggest legacy in sneakers.

"It's good to be back in Paris. I played out here in 1997 and it was the best time I had playing in Europe. I did the tourist thing with my family, saw the Eiffel Tower and my family got to see me play here." said Jordan. "We have that kind of great relationship where anything is impossible, and 30 years later it’s still going strong."
