Two days ago, Hypebeast announced that Boston sneaker boutique Bodega's collaboration with ASICS on a Gore-Tex Gel Lyte V would be dropped off in six cities around the globe. First up, naturally, was Bodega's hometown, Boston.
Hypebeast released the coordinates for the sneakers — which were placed in a "wet box" and came with a champagne bottle, jacket, mixtape, and a $100 worth of $1 bills — and Instagram user @caddy2489 came up on the pair.
Sneaker personality Tyler Blake, @tylerjblake, blessed us with an in-depth look at the sneakers and packaging. No release date has been set, but you should expect them to hit retail by January at the latest.
Another pair of the collaboration will be placed in New York City tomorrow.
