This year marks the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. To celebrate the historic moment, adidas, founded in Germany, will be reissuing one of its most popular runners that's also celebrating its 25-year anniversary.
The ZX 8000 will be offered in three all-new colorways based off of the graffiti-covered walls. There are two neutral offerings in black and white, and a third highlighted with vibrant pink. The black, white, and pink iterations are nicknamed Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie, respectively, which were the names of border crossing checkpoints between West Berlin and East Berlin. An official release date has not yet been set for the collection.
