Carolina colors on an Air Jordan is like bread and peanut butter, it goes together but you need that sweetness of the jelly to really enjoy it. In the case of this 2010 Air Jordan II, the clear sole is the perfect jelly to the sandwich analogy.

The Chambray AIr Jordan VII was the first time a black based version of the VII dropped without any red accents. On top of that, it looked a lot like those PEs Jesus Shuttleworth was sportin' in Milwaukee. JB killed it with the materials and these were the sh*t for the spring of 2006.

The 2010 version of the Air Jordan VI referred to as the Oreos took the contrasting panel approach that made previous colorways like the Carmines, sneakerhead favorites, and added more clear, speckled midsoles and a cool nickname. The perfect combination.

Bentley Ellis may be the name on the tongue of these but old school 'heads have visions of Harold Miner at USC throwing down in these. OK, maybe nobody cares about the "Original" Baby Jordan, but a USC colorway on the Air Jordan IX? It's on.

While these "Wheats" are better off for spring than the Timbs that are most commonly affiliated with the color, they filled a necessary void in the sneaker game.

There's a lot of history around the Bugs Bunny themes with Jordans between movies and commercials, and in 2009 they decided to take a fan-favorite colorway from the Air Jordan VII and apply it to the Air Jordan I. It worked. Materials were also on point.

The Bin 23 series took a shot and the naysayers about Jordan's quality decline. The Air Jordan IX was one of the recipients of top-notch materials and a limited release. The gold accents were already enough approval but the Bin 23 emulated wax stamp on the lower ankle approved these before they were even released.

Not to often do some crazy colorways hit a Jordan silhouette. The bright colors are usually left for runners but for the Quai 54 Tournament in 2011, JB hit the Air Jordan V with two colorways accented in a radiant green that seemed to make the outsoles glow like Yeezy taught them.These limited joints had 'heads hitting up anyone they knew trying to get a pair.

The first time blue landed on a retro release of the Air Jordan IX was the French Blues. The metallic silver label on the side panel was reminiscent of the Playoff XIIs and the flipped variation of blue and white reminded 'heads of the OG Obsidians, it was the perfect mix of new and past memories.

The early '00s, most of us were just happy to have survived Y2K, and in hindsite B2K as well. So most began celebrating life with "bling" and maybe even "bling bling" if you were onto Cash Money before it became YMCMB. JB even started adding chrome to Jordans. "Flints" dropped in 2003 and were such a simple color combo, they're wearable with almost anything. It was also one of the first times that 'heads had a shot at a neutral colorway on the Air Jordan XII, since the OG Taxis dropped and people were ready for the pick up.

The Golden Moments Pack featured both the Air Jordan VI and Air Jordan VII with gold accents presumably inspired by the Olympic Games and the gold medals won by Team USA and MJ. The VI came in a white based colorway and was simple and effective.

A non-OG colorway so good that it gets released as a retro? Yep, the Cool Grey Air Jordan XI sets the standard for non-OG colorways. The first release in 2001 had people doing dumb sh*t to get them. The re-release in 2011 was the same. The tonal grey colorway became a staple amongst Jordan releases and has even found its way on to most Retro Jordan silhouettes.

Los Angeles' Undefeated designed these Air Jordan IVs to be auctioned off for charity. The colorway has since been reused by everyone and their mother, but that's because getting your hands on a pair of these can set you back an arm, leg, liver and first born. Totally worth it, though.
