Fall is fast approaching, and with it, prime running weather. So to commemorate the end of summer, we called on all-around sneaker expert Gary Warnett to compile his list of The 50 Greatest Running Shoes of All Time. Some you'll recognize, some you won't, as all-time classics like the Nike Air Max 90 take their place alongside lesser-known (but hardly lesser) models such as the Mizuno MZ-84. So we invite you to click through the gallery and take a walk — make that a run — down memory lane.

You've got NB 993's pictured for "New Balance 991". And the 991 debuted in 2001, not 1999. And NB 992 sales don't keep "growing by the day" because the shoe was discontinued in 2008. If you're going to do this list, at least take two seconds to do some research.

Not trying to be rude, but this is the worst sneaker list I have ever seen. Somebody slipped.
