Carrying cash on you the next time you hop in a New York cab might save you from an ass kicking. A taxi driver is still out there, after he viciously attacked a passenger for only having a credit card to pay her fare.
The woman, who wished to stay anonymous, told CBS 2 she and her husband only rode for a couple blocks before the driver pulled over and she told him the car's credit card reader wasn't working. When she said she didn't have cash and offered to go to an ATM, the driver went berserk. He punched her in the face, knocking her out cold and leaving her with a swollen jaw and eye muscles, bruises all over her body, and a ringing ear.
The woman says she remembers what the driver looks like and is working with the police to find him. It'd be a shame for the dude to get away with assaulting a woman.
