In some cases, it's the rider who makes the bike. In other cases, it's the bike that makes the rider. In film, talented stunt-people ride most bikes. But while you're watching these movies, it's the characters riding these bikes who burn that rubber into your brain. Easy Rider has the most iconic motorcycle shot of all time. Most of the bikes in this list will be forgotten in 10 more years when someone else compiles a list of contemporaneous bikes and yet Easy Rider will be hanging around.

This list must be a joke, a very unfunny joke. No easy rider? No wild ones? Even tron (parker brothers chopper recreated an electric version in real life). I could go on and on.
