The build-up to the release of Mission: Impossible – Fallout continues, with a brand new trailer for Tom Cruise's next action blockbuster. The first one premiered during the Super Bowl.
In this six-quel, no good deed goes unpunished as the main antagonist from Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation comes back into the fold, threatening the life of Cruise's character Ethan Hunt and those closest to him. "When the clock stops, Ethan Hunt will lose everyone he ever cared about," a voice says. That's usually not a good sign.
As expected, there's plenty of action, explosions, and death-defying stunts performed by Cruise himself, age 55. Old favorites reprise their roles from previous films, including Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, and Sean Harris, along with new faces including Henry Cavill and Angela Bassett.
From the looks of the trailer, it's quite possible this might be the best one yet. Mission: Impossible – Fallout hits theaters on July 27.
