John Boyega has been busy promoting Pacific Rim Uprising, speaking about his role in the sequel to Guillermo Del Toro's 2013 original. But he's also been speaking about roles in his future, too, finally responding to fan favorite pitches, including the John Stewart version of Green Lantern as well as Blade. Considering his already impressive film resume, there's no doubt he could land either of these parts, but it would seem he's got some reservations.

During a chat with Screen Rant while promoting Pacific Rim Uprising, the 25-year-old actor said it "wouldn't be a problem" joining another cinematic universe. The Star Wars actor has a lot on his plate already, but he seems interested in possibly jumping into the role of a comic book character in the future. Fielding suggestions from fans, however, he doesn't wanna take just any old role. Asked about whether he'd take on the role of John Stewart or Blade, he groaned, "They're doing a Green Lantern?"

As for the role of Blade in a possible Marvel-helmed film, he says he's not interested at the moment. "And Wesley, man. That's Wesley for Blade. I would want to see Wesley," he says.

Wesley Snipes has explained that he's interested in reprising his role in a future Blade movie, so maybe he'll get his wish in the future. "I am very much open to all of the possibilities," Snipes told Hollywood Reporter in January.
