There are certain celebrities who you never want to cross, lest you incur the wrath of their mighty minions. Snapchat users were leaving the platform in droves after Rihanna told them to. The singer put a fatwah on Snap after the company made light of her domestic abuse situation with ex Chris Brown in an ad. Now, since Chrissy Teigen, a.k.a. Queen of Twitter, announced she was leaving the platform too, stock in the company has plummeted once more.

As we previously reported, Teigen took to Twitter to announce her decision, saying, “I stopped using snap. The update, the constant complaints of people not being able to find me, plus the Rihanna poll...no bueno.” Snapchat consequently lost 2 percent of its value on Monday. Snapchat also took a significant hit when Kylie Jenner said she rarely used the platform these days.

When Chrissy speaks, Wall Street isn't the only one who listens. Users on Twitter backed her up, reveling in what appears to be the steady demise of the platform at the hands of influential celebs.

I gave it up when I couldn’t find your story anymore. If I can’t watch you cooking then there really is no point. 👩‍🍳
