Will Smith is an accomplished actor with two Academy Award nominations to his name, but he admittedly "can't bear to watch" himself on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air anymore. During his appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Smith revealed why you will never catch him checking out an episode of the hit TV show he starred in for six seasons.

“It was my very first role, and I was very, very focused on being successful, so I learned the whole script and everyone else’s lines," Smith said via The Wrap. “If you watch the first four or five episodes, you can see I’m mouthing other people’s lines. It’s terrible and I can’t bear to watch it.”

If Smith is so critical of his performance on Fresh Prince, maybe he should take on more look at his work on the "Papa's Got a Brand-New Excuse" episode. The final scene was not only touching, it was a solid reminder that he had a bright future as an actor ahead of him.

In the above video, Smith also admits that if there were a Fresh Prince reunion, he would probably be best suited to play Uncle Phil. “Man, I’d have to be Uncle Phil in that one now ― I’m nearly 50," the 49-year-old actor explains.

Back in July, Smith went bungee jumping and accidentally turned his leap into a viral moment when the photo snapped of him in the middle of his descent looked eerily similar to Uncle Phil. So, Will, are you really open to the idea of playing Uncle Phil sometime down the road?
