Today in highly engaging Trump Supporter Gets Roasted content, we have Dave Chappelle taking measured jabs at an apparent Trumpee during a stand-up set in Inglewood. Chappelle was noting the unfortunate presence of phones during a Monday night set at The Savoy when a Trump supporter inspired him to shift gears entirely, TMZreported.

"Well, a few more days left and it's so long Obama," Chappelle is seen joking in the clip—one he probably didn't want popping up on TMZ, as this is how comedians test new material. "Donald Trump is gonna take the reins and be our president," he said before pointing out an audience member.

"Take it easy security, he just voted for Trump," Chappelle joked when the audience member shouted something about voting for the former Apprentice host. "I've never seen a motherfucker get circled by security whilst wearing an argyle sweater." As the audience member seemingly left the venue, Chappelle said he was "sorry they're putting [him] out" before returning to some proper roasting.

"Security please," Chappelle said. "Let's expedite that and let's move on."

After wildly misleading headlines last year suggested that Chappelle was some kind of a Trump supporter himself, he made a firm clarification to TMZ. "Jesus Christ," Chappelle said in November. "I'm not a Trump supporter. Unequivocally no. I'm not going to elaborate on it. Hell no."

In a separate statement to Variety the same month, Chappelle's rep added that his client had voted for Clinton. "Dave is disgusted by the tone of the election and especially by the idea that his comedy would be misconstrued to defend [Trump]," the rep said at the time. "His comedy show blasted both candidates. By the way, he voted for Hillary [Clinton]."
