Continuing Complex Summer Vacation meant thinking bigger, so we put New Mexico and Berlin in the rear view by heading to Japan. And when we say Japan, we're not talking Tokyo. Nah, we're talking about that very rare trip to southeast Japan—Mie and Wakayama, to be exact. We hiked sacred mountains, kicked it with a priest at an ancient temple, and sampled the native cuisine (seafood, fresh of the boat).

In addition to our outdoor adventures, we linked with Tokyo-based artist Takehiro Tobinaga and the good folks at Adobe. Tobinaga, much like ourselves, had traded in the fast-paced city life for a deep dive into rural Japan. Capturing elements from the temple, the forests, waterfalls, food, even the small, Tobinaga blended these elements to create something beautiful using Adobe Creative Cloud.

Check out the video above, and join us on our summer vacation through Japan. And when you're done, make sure you get out and get inspired.
