One-half of the couple convicted for their public romp on a Florida beach last year has been released from jail, officials say.

The Associated Press reports that Elissa Alvarez was sentenced to time served by a judge in Bradenton, Fla. yesterday. Alvarez, 20, was convicted earlier this month along with Jose Caballero, 40, after the two were arrested for their Bradenton Beach sex display last July. Their wanton display of lust, resulting in the lewd and lascivious exhibition convictions .

According to the Associated Press, although Alvarez was released, she will still have to register as a sex offender unless she files an appeal—a 3-year-old witnessed she and Caballero's depraved actions. As for Caballero, well, he'll be sentenced in early July.
