Tina Fey and Amy Poehler said that this would be their final hosting of the Golden Globes. So no one could tell them to tone anything down because they were going down themselves. They promised some jokes about Bill Cosby, who's been accused of sexually assaulting more than a dozen women). And after tossing out some soft jokes at the expense of those in the room, they delivered.

To describe the Globe nominated (Best Picture, Comedy or Musical) Into The Woods Poehler joked that, "Cinderella ran away from her prince, Rapunzel was thrown from a tower... and Sleeping Beauty just thought she was getting coffee with Bill Cosby."

Fey asked the audience if they heard that Cosby finally spoke out about the allegations against him. She cracked, "Cosby admitted to a reporter [doing a Cosby impression]: 'I put the pills in the people! The people didn't want the pills in them!'" Poehler then repeated the joke, impersonating Cosby's Jell-O commercial voice. Many of the accusers have said that Cosby put a drug into their drink before he raped them.

Mike Fleming of Deadline quipped that Fey and Poehler may "not be done with Cosby yet. Maybe this will be a drinking game, each time he gets abused, everybody drink. Then again, that’s how this whole sordid issue got started."
