Thanks to the same Instagram spam purge that knocked Ma$e from 1.6 million IG followers all the way down to 272K, we have a new No. 1 most-followed account: Kim Kardashian.
After breaking the Internet with her Paper magazine IG a few months ago, Kim has now staked her claim to the top spot after Justin Bieber saw his followers dwindle from 23.8 million to 20.3 million. Kim has the lead with 22.2 million followers, followed by Beyonce with 21.4 million, and Bieber tumbling down to third.
It’s just another win for Kim, who seems to continuously find new ways to cement her status—like it or not—as a cultural icon.
