Florida State University has reportedly become the latest site of a school shooting. At least two people were injured by gunshots on the FSU campus and are being treated at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, according to ABC News. The status of the patients is unclear, and it isn't yet known if they are students at Florida State.
A telephone alert warned students of a "dangerous situation" and encouraged them to seek shelter and stay away from doors and windows, according to AP.
Early witness statements say that police have already shot and "likely" killed the suspect, reports Gawker senior writer Adam Weinstein. He also says Tallahassee police are expected to release an official statement shortly.
