After the bench from The Fault in Our Stars where Hazel and Augustus shared a kiss in Amsterdam was stolen, fans despaired as they realized they would not be able to recreate the signature moment from the film in real life. It has been five horrible days since the ordeal began, but mercifully it appears the saga has reached its conclusion.
The horror ended after the Amsterdam Film Office sent out the following tweet this morning:

They even claim it’s the original bench, which (conveniently) nobody has any way to verify. Whether it really is the original or is simply a replacement, what’s important is that the bench has been returned to its rightful spot, where it can once again host movie buffs as well as American college students who need a place to relax after eating way too many weed brownies.
