The Simpsons' next "Treehouse of Horror" episode—including longer opening credits created by Pan's Labyrinth director Guillermo del Toro—isn't set to air until this Sunday, but if you're impatient, or just a horror movie buff who can't wait, Fox has unleashed del Toro's version of the credits early on the Internet.

As expected, Del Toro didn't stray too much from the normal format of showcasing all the family on their way home to sit on the couch, but the credits are darker than ever previously seen on The Simpsons—and for that, they're kind of brilliant. Running at nearly three minutes long, the credits include nods to a handful of B-horror movies and even movies that del Toro himself has worked on, most notably Pan's Labyrinth. For a horror movie buff, it should be no problem to guess them all.

You can check out the opening credits above.
