Amazon's "Zombieland" Series Has Been "Hated Out of Existence"

We'd say this is sad news, but if you actually saw Amazon's Zombieland pilot - and we did - you'd know it really isn't.

According to writer/producer Rhett Reese in a tweet last night, the series - which is based on the 2009 movie but retains none of the original cast - was not picked up for a full season for Amazon's new streaming site.

After announcing the news, Reese - who also wrote the 2009 film - got a little real with his followers:

Does that merit a meeeeowMeeeeow! He ended it on a good note, though.

The Internet generation: Successfully hating shows out of existence in one month or less.
