Unsurprisingly, it looks like G.I. Joe: Retaliation is poised to be a hit this weekend in the box office. According to Deadline, the film managed to earn $2.5 million domestically from midnight and late-night showings alone on Wednesday, and another $8 million on Thursday for a grand total of $10.5 million - all before the start of Easter weekend. With these numbers, the movie is track to earn as much as $50 million domestically by the end of the weekend, and possibly even $100 million globally.

Additionally, the film is apparently a hit with viewers: Audiences are giving it an 'A-' CinemaScore, which is higher than the first film, G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra's 'B+' score.
