As Degrassi alumnus Shane Kippel reminded us yesterday, before Aubrey Graham became Drake, he was most recognizable as Jimmy Brooks, Degrassi High School's wheelchair-bound ladies man and former basketball star. After being injured in a tragic school shooting, Brooks evolved from a typical teenager who egged cars with his BFF Spinner (Kippel) to an artistic music-lover with a fresh perspective on life and heaps of wisdom.
