Apple reportedly gave a test run to its new iPhone 6 device this week.
No pics or specs as of yet but an iOS developer revealed that a device named "iPhone 6,1" running iOS 7 was making requests from an IP address within Apple's Cupertino campus. However, since Apple's promise to "double down on secrecy" this discovery might be a hoax.
Even though the IP address requests could be faked, according to The Next Web it is highly unlikely for an unique IP footprint to lead back to the Cupertino campus.
Apple started working on iOS 7 late last year but features of the mobile software are not expected to be revealed until the first public release.
