Ever since it debuted in 2010, The Expendables franchise has become the retirement home for aging action stars to prove that they still have a little gas left in the tank. Now, in a passionate essay about the series on his Facebook page, Sylvester Stallone has confirmed that Nicolas Cage will be joining the cast of The Expendables 3. Check out what he said below:
While the inclusion of Cage always makes for an interesting movie, Sly is still holding out hope for Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes, and Mickey Rourke as well. With that much age and testosterone in one film, this could be the type of movie that old school action junkies have been hoping for since the first Expendables was announced. We just hope the producers have enough Metamucil to go around.
