Google today announced a massive update to its Google Maps and Google Earth services that includes a large batch of new 45-degree high-resolution images from more than 23 U.S. cities and seven international locations.

At the start of the 2012 Olympics, Google released a large batch of high-resolution imagery from 25 international cities and 72 countries, including the Olympic Park and Olympic Village in London.
