First appearance: The Savage She-Hulk (1980)

It’s no secret that Marvel needs some diversity in its movie universe, especially since it doesn’t look like Scarlett Johansson is going to be in a Black Widow spin-off any time soon. But we wouldn’t be so quick to give She-Hulk her own flick just to pump up the company's estrogen count. Marvel has had a hard enough time trying to get the Hulk right on the screen, so to say that we would be suspicious of yet another gamma-powered hero would be an understatement.

She-Hulk doesn’t necessarily have the best track record in the comic book world either, as her solo titles usually get cancelled within a few years of their launch. And if a character can’t hold down a comic series, we’re not positive that a movie should be a given them. If Marvel really does want to show off some of its fierce females, a Ms. Marvel movie is the way to go.
