According to Deadline, Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz will follow up his part in Django Unchained with a leading role in Terry Gilliam's upcoming movie, Zero Theorem. In the film, Waltz will play a man named Qohen Leth, an eccentric computer genius who is attempting to discover the purpose of existence—or lack thereof.
This will be Gilliam's first movie since 2009's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, which featured Heath Ledger's last performance. Pre-production has already begun on the movie in Romania and shooting will begin in late October. Most of Gilliam's movies seem to have a habit of being hit with unforeseen production problems, but it looks like this is moving along peacefully so far. Fingers crossed.
