Yesterday, a mysterious clock began to tick down over at Operation Early Bird, which was revealed to be a viral marketing site for Christopher Nolan's last Batman flick, The Dark Knight Rises. No one knew what the clock was ticking down towards, but it seems like most fans were hoping for some exclusive pictures from the movie or perhaps even a brand-new trailer.

The end result is a little disappointing, but very cool nonetheless. When the clock finally reached "0", the site opened up to a map that marked locations of certain IMAX screens in North America and England that will be offering early-bird looks at the six-minute prologue for the movie. While the prologue will be playing with select IMAX prints of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, these RSVP's will allow fans to catch a glimpse of it three days before anyone else.

There are only a handful of IMAX screens that will feature this early look at the prologue, and it seems like most of middle-America got the shaft, but if you are in New York, California, or Texas you have quite a few locations to choose from. And for those who can't see it early, there are rumors that a brand new trailer for the movie will debut with Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows when it gets released on December 16.

We're keeping our fingers crossed about that.
