Criminals who are planning to rob a store normally attempt to steer clear of cops at all costs for fear of being caught, but apparently that strategy didn't strike 22-year-old Timothy Clark of Maryland as a very good one, because he did the exact opposite when he attempted to rob a Walmart store.

When Clark decided he wanted to shoplift from the Walmart, it was "Shop With a Cop" day - a community program that brings officers and needy children together to shop, or something - and there were about 50 police officers in the store. For some reason, that didn't pose a problem to Clark, who went ahead and attemped to swipe 26 Playstation and XBox games, two controllers, and some gaming accessories right under the officers' noses.

When loss prevention officers saw Clark in the act of the crime, they alerted police in the store who quickly nabbed Clark in the parking lot and arrested him.

Maybe it had sounded like a better idea in his head?
