With Occupy Wall Street dragging the once squeaky-clean image of the NYC banker through the mud, one would have to assume that dating for those working in finance has become considerably more difficult.
But one investment banker named Mike took to particularly desperate measures in the wake of his dating drought. After going on a date with Lauren to the NY Philharmonic (which she describes as "horrific") and not receiving a call back, he wrote this wrist-wrenching email:

We've seen some shady dating practices (Patrick Bateman from American Psycho and this enamored Jamba Juice employee come to mind), but Mike's methods are particularly desperate, especially for a man who seems as cultured and articulate as does.
Being that this email anonymously appeared on Reddit, we can't confirm that Mike is actually a real person, but for the sheer fact that it would make our own dating delusions seem considerably less sad in comparison, we hope he is.
