With DC's September relaunch looming right around the corner, Newsarama has revealed the first eight covers from some of the most highly anticipated books, such as Batman, Superman, Action Comics, Detective Comics, Wonder Woman, and more.
With some updated costumes and tweaked personalities to better fit our modern world, DC is hoping that this new initiative is the shot in the arm that it needs to compete with Marvel. According to Newsarama, skeptical fans can also scan the QR code on each cover with their smart phone to get a preview of each book in order to see if this new reboot is enough to get them back on the DC bandwagon.
The company is saying all of the right things and doing all of the right things, but the end result is quality, so we'll see if this experiment actually works when the relaunch is unleashed this September.
