When the re-imagined Hawaii Five-0 premieres tonight (CBS, 10 p.m.), it's going to stand out from the crop of new fall shows. Not because the theme song kicks ass or because it's so good that renewal is guaranteed, mind you, but simply because it features multiple Asian leads. Daniel Dae Kim, of Lost fame, plays disgraced ex-Honolulu Police Detective Chin Ho Kelly, Battlestar Galactica alum Grace Park plays his cousin, rookie cop Kona Kalakaua, and Heroes' Masi Oka is coroner Max Bergman. Really, the show could be canceled midway through its first season and it would still be a success of sorts. Do you realize how rare it is to see even one Asian lead on TV, let alone three? Well, let us show you. Check it out with our history of TV shows with multiple Asian stars...
