Waka Flocka just dropped the Big Homie Flocka mixtape while we all eagerly anticipate his third studio album, Flockaveli 2, set for an Oct. 5 release later this year.
Fans have been waiting for Flockaveli 2 for nearly five years now. Originally planned for a 2013 release, it was rescheduled numerous times until a firm date seemed set in stone: June 1, 2015, Waka’s dearly departed brother Kayo Redd’s birthday. Sadly, the day came and went. Fortunately for us fans, Waka’s been dropping mixtapes on such a reliable and consistent basis for nine years now that it’s hard to be frustrated. While Flockaveli 2 is officially set to drop on Oct. 5, Waka’s already released the Zaytoven-produced Brick House Boyz mixtape in March, and just dropped another one to tide us over.
Big Homie Flocka’s 23 tracks include features by Jimmy Rocket, J Dubb, Loudiene, Krazy Blacx, Skippa Da Flippa, Sancho, Speedy, BC, Luh Shotta E, Ace, Junior and Kidd Jayy. For those of you salivating for Flockaveli 2 to finally be birthed unto the world, this should work wonders.
