Here Are the First Week Numbers for Rae Sremmurd's Triple Album 'SR3MM'

The duo will tour their triple album alongside Childish Gambino later this year.

Rae Sremmurd’s triple-album collection SR3MM, which includes Swaecation and Jxmtro, debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200. The 27-track project pushed 57,000 equivalent album units in its first week.

SR3MM matched predictions that they would end the week with 55,000-60,000 equivalent album sales and 7,000-8,000 traditional sales. The project trailed behind Post Malone's Beerbongs & Bentleys at No. 1, followed by J. Cole's KOD, Leon Bridges' Good Thing, Cardi B's Invasion of Privacy, and Shinedown's ATTENTION ATTENTION. The numbers are an improvement compared to SremmLife 2, which debuted at No. 7 with 30,000 units.

In an interview Billboard back in March, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi claimed this project would be their best yet. “It’s the best music we've ever made. Of course we've still got SremmLife 1 and 2 flavor, but we're giving y’all shit y’all never heard from Rae Sremmurd before,” Swae said. “It's just gonna be a surprise—every song you hear you're gonna be like, ‘Damn, what the fuck?’ And all the production is crazy, you got Mike Will Made-It and EarDrummers ringing off the whole album. A couple more people too, crazy features. It's gonna be a big deal, it's history. The world never heard this, it's gonna be a big statement—triple disc from a group.”

Fans can catch Rae Sremmurd on their forthcoming North American tour with Childish Gambino. The fall tour kicks off on Sept. 6 in Duluth, Georgia. Check out the full schedule here.
