Everyone knows luxury sports cars are a staple in hip-hop music videos; but for their newly released “No Regrets” visual, Lovele$$ and Lil Yachty have ditched the extravagant whips in favor of a couple of ice cream trucks.
“I was just tryna show the world what Gucci and Versace ice cream look like,” Lovele$$ told Complex via email about the video. “Oh yea, and Lil Boat was there too.”
The visual arrives two months after Lovele$$ and Yachty dropped the joint track produced by Charlie Heat and Dez Wright. The song also marks the rappers' second collaborative track together, following 2016's “Kiss the Money.”
“After hearing the beat that Charlie Heat and Dez Wright made I went straight to studio and after I put my sauce on it... I knew right away I needed to get Yachty on it,” Lovele$$ explained. “So, I FaceTimed him and played him the record and he told me to send it to him and he sent me back a fire verse later that night.”
