While we were all frantically trawling Twitter for Drake and Pusha T receipts last night, J Hus surprised us all with a brand new EP. Big Spang clocks in at a very efficient three tracks, with each banger packing a punch with plenty of quotables and booming JAE5 productions.
Still, while the Common Sense producer does make a welcome return, don't come in expecting a continuation of the game-changing album. This time round, the two Js have cooked up something a little different, pushing the Afro influences to the back and bringing forward a much more rap-focused aesthetic. It's still thoroughly J Hus, but there's been a welcome progression, so who knows what album number two will sound like?
