Bryce Vine has called upon Wale for the remix of his 2017 single “Drew Barrymore.”
The reworked version arrives along with the official music video directed by Chuck D. Willis. Though the original track was pretty solid, Wale’s guest verse definitely takes the R&B cut to a whole new level.
“Wale is a true artist. I’ve been a fan for years and years,” Vine told Complex. “His cool vibe and eccentricity made this video so fun to shoot. He really treated me like a little brother, joking that we were the new Martin Lawrence and Will Smith.”
Wale, who just dropped his Self Promotion EP, returned the compliment: “Bryce Vine’s energy is uncanny.”
