Tyler, the Creator has shared the demo of an unreleased track called “Rose Tinted Cheeks.” The rapper told fans that he had recorded the song for his 2017 album Flower Boy, but never put the finishing touches on it.

You can check out the rough draft in the video above, as well as the lyrics below.

The song finds Tyler rapping about a love that got away because he was too afraid to express his feelings. If the title sounds a familiar to fans, that's because it was included in Flower Boy's “See You Again” cut featuring Kali Uchis.

You don't understand me, what the fuck do you mean?
It's them rose tinted cheeks, yeah it's them dirt-colored eyes
Sugar honey iced tea, bumblebee on the scene
Yeah I'd give up my bakery to have a piece of your pie

Shortly after he released the demo, Tyler said he intended for a woman to sing the hook. It would've definitely made the love song prettier and much more poignant.

Though we would love to hear a final version of the track, Tyler told fans it probably wasn't going to happen.

“Rose Tinted Cheeks” arrives less than month after Tyler dropped “OKRA,” a stand-alone single produced by Happy Place.
