It's been almost a year since Montreal's rising star Speng Squire dropped his debut Expressions of Now, and since then has opened up for the likes of Schoolboy Q and Travis Scott, as well as caught the attention of such industry vets as Kardinal Offishall. In between that he hasn't stopped grinding in the studio, however, and the young rapper is already gearing up for another album release. The album is titled This Moment Belongs To Us and is set to release some time in the coming months, but for now you can take a listen and look at the first video from the project, "Cartier."

The single is produced by DRTWRK and the visual directed by Adem Boutlidja and Samuel Olaechea. Speng is undoubtedly maturing and evolving as an artist but his lyrical abilities are as strong as ever as he alludes to the fact that he's still the same guy, despite being able to afford certain luxuries that he wasn't before. He also recently dropped a couple of other singles in "Wake Up" and "ABCD" but it's unclear right now whether those will be part of the album.

Check out the "Cartier" video above and stay tuned to Speng's Instagram or Twitter about when we can expect This Moment Belongs To Us
