In December, Pell and Saba collaborated on a nostalgic song called "Throwback" that transported us back to a time of Motorola Razr phones, Myspace, and lazy evenings driving around with nothing to do.

The song was begging for a sun-soaked Los Angeles video shot on Super 8 cameras, so four months later, the New Orleans rapper has delivered a vintage Miles and AJ-directed clip that follows a day in the life of Pell.

Shot in various locations throughout the L.A., the video features a constantly-shifting set that leads Pell around the city. "Shooting the video was dope because it was the first time I was shooting this quality of a video with bystanders walking by watching me do it," he says. "You could say it was interactive in that way that most of my music videos aren't."

As for the song itself, the girasoul EP standout pays homage to "Slow Jamz." Pell says it's "Saba as Twista and me as Kanye." You can watch the premiere of the "Throwback" video above and continue for a stream of the full EP. Also, if you haven't already, make sure to check out Saba's new album Care For Me right here.
