Meek Mill Gives His First Post-Bail Interview: 'I Don't Feel Free'

"I ain't feel free since I caught this case at the age of 19. I'm 30 now."

Just one day after his release from prison, Meek Mill gave an exclusive interview with Lester Holt on Dateline NBC.

The sit-down will focus on the rapper’s nearly six-month stint behind bars, his release on bail, and his plans for the future. This will mark Meek’s first interview since the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered his release from a state prison.

Holt spoke to the Philly rapper earlier this month for an exclusive phone interview for NBC Nightly News. At that time, Meek expressed his frustration with his controversial case, which stemmed from decade-old gun- and drug-related charges.

“It was always a thought in the back of my mind that 10 years of probation would bring me back to prison,” he told Holt.
