Joey Badass has always been one to acknowledge his fanbase and what they do for him, frequently thanking his listeners and going the extra mile every now and then. He's outdone himself this time, though, going as far as to gift a fan with a platinum plaque during the second stop of his Amerikkkana tour at Terminal 5, New York City.

As TMZ reports, Joey brought a fan named Juan onto the stage while audience started chanting the guest's name. In the video TMZ shared, Joey explains that Juan has been going through some particularly "devastating" times recently. Making his night even better than it already was at this point, Joey handed Juan a platinum record plaque for the 2016 song "Devastated."

The song itself is all about overcoming struggles, with Joey rapping, "I used to feel so devastated/At times I thought we'd never make it/But now we on our way to greatness/And all that ever took was patience." Juan can definitely relate to the message in the song, and there's no doubt the gift put a huge smile on his face despite his personal troubles.

After receiving the plaque, Juan was taken backstage to view the rest of the show. Not many artists get the opportunity to land themselves a platinum single, but Joey is putting the message of the song into practice by being selfless.
