It’s a week full of wins for Cardi B.
Just one day after she dropped her debut studio album, Invasion of Privacy, the Bronx rapper served as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live alongside host Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther). The episode marked Cardi’s first-ever appearance on the comedy sketch show, so you know she had to do it big.
“YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE TONIGHT!,” she wrote on Instagram just hours before taking the stage. “On GOD.”
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper wasn’t exaggerating. She delivered incredible performances of standout Invasion of Privacy tracks, "Bodak Yellow" and "Bartier Cardi," as well as "Be Careful." You can check out the performances above and below.
On Monday, Cardi will make her third appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where she will not only perform a musical number, but will also act as the show's first-ever co-host.
