Get ready to spice up your life with a Spice Girls animated film!

Variety reports that all five members of the '90s girls group have signed up to voice characters for a "superhero-themed movie." Taking inspiration from their respective Spice Girl monikers, Victoria Beckham (Posh), Melanie Brown (Scary), Emma Bunton (Baby), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty), and Geri Halliwell (Ginger), will each use a "girl power" relating to their persona. (Sailor Moon meets the Spice Girls, uhm yes!) The animated characters are also slated to share likenesses with the pop superstars.

An unnamed source shared that the members are "fired up about the idea" and "thinking big in terms of a franchise on a global scale."

The source continued: "They’re the most successful girl group on the planet. It’s just what Marvel or Disney needs.” The film is currently being shopped around but has yet to be green-lit so far.

If it happens, the Spice Girls will join a host of superheroic women taking the screen right now. Danai Gurira's Okoye and Lupita Nyong'o's Nakia kicked ass and took names on screen for Black Panther and are set to join Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Gamora, Valkyrie, the Wasp, Mantis, and more to take down Thanos in Avengers; Infinity War next month. DC is also gearing up for Wonder Woman 2, while Marvel is working on Captain Marvel's standalone film which is rumored to feature another hero, Monica Rambeau.

In the meantime, the Spice Girls might return for a reunion tour as well. Viva forever.
